Twiters Invitational 2017 Mens Results

These are highlights from the Surrey Gymnastic Society Men’s Program.  They took part at the Twisters Gymnastics Invitational, March 25-26, in Abbotsford:

 

Elite 4 – Emanuel Gutierrez Sandoval (13-year-old Surrey resident) placed 4th All Around, winning silver medals on Floor, Vault and Parallel Bars, bronze on Pommel Horse, 4th on High Bar and 6th on Rings.

 

National Open – 15-year-old, South Surrey resident, Treyson Cerrato placed 3rd All Around, gold on High Bar, silver on Pommel Horse, bronze on Parallel Bars and 4th on Vault.

 

Provincial 5 – 14-year-old, Muzzammil Taziz placed 3rd All Around, 2nd on Floor, 3rdon Pommel Horse and Rings and 5th on High Bar.

 

Provincial 4 (under 13 years old) – 12-year-old Luke Van Harmelen was the All Around Champion placing 2nd on Rings and Parallel Bars, 5th on High Bar and 6th on Pommel Horse and Vault.  Team mate, 11-year-old Carter Baker placed 3rd All Around, winning gold on High Bar, silver on Floor, bronze on Parallel Bars, 5th on Pommel Horse and 6th on Vault.

 

Next up for the Surrey Gymnastic Men’s and Women’s Programs will be the BC Championships in Port Coquitlam on the April 7-9 weekend.
